Russian Ice Stars to perform at Malvern Theatres

THE stunningly choreographed ice spectacular Snow White on Ice is showing at Malvern Theatres tonight, Saturday and Sunday, December 4, 5 and 6.

The Russian Ice Stars are back in Malvern and the Forum Theatre has been transfomed into a frozen wonderland.

The Stars are one of the finest professional skating companies in the world and they include among their number more former World, European and Olympic competitors than any other theatrical ice show.

The classic fairy tale has been specially adapted and interpreted for this performance on ice by Caverliere Giusseppe Arena, a former principal dancer from La Scala, and has a specially commissioned original musical score from the Italian composer Maestro Silvio Amato.

The original fairytale about an enchanted mirror, a beautiful girl, the ultimate Prince Charming and a poisoned apple comes to life on ice with ballet, gymnastics and incredible ariel acrobatics to create a breathtaking show for all the family.

It is a return visit to Malvern for the Russian Ice Stars, who have become as much a part of the winter season at Malvern Theatres as panto. They have previously transformed the Forum theatre into a winter wonderland for performances of Beauty and the Beast On Ice and Cirque de Glace.

The performance in Malvern is part of a UK-wide tour and tickets range from £20 to £27.50. Evening performances tonight, Friday, and Saturday are at 7.15pm and there is a Saturday matinee at 2pm. The Sunday performances are at 2pm and 5.30pm.
