Ollie's tour has been just magic

COLWALL magician Ollie Mealing has enjoyed a whirlwind six months, performing at some of the biggest and best-known events on the UK festival circuit.

He has dazzled audiences and celebrities alike at a dozen major events, including Glastonbury, The Big Tree, Wakestock and the Freeze Festival held at Battersea Power Station.

Along the way his tricks have impressed many welll-known celebrities, including Calvin Harris, Moby, Tinchy Strider, Radio One DJ Zane Lowe and Noel Fielding from The Mighty Boosh.

Many of these celebrity encounters can be seen on Ollie’s own youtube channel, youtube.com/olliemealing, which is updated with a new video every Monday morning.

Ollie’s festival journey was rounded off a fortnight ago when he performed at the UK Festival Awards held at the O2 Dome in London.

“I got to perform to all the major players in the festival world, which was a really privileged experience,” he said.

Ollie’s latest appearance was working with Meningitis UK at Cabot Circus, in Bristol, last Saturday (November 28), and he has already lined up a great deal of bookings for 2010.
