Popular demand brings show back to Wells

BACK by popular demand, the Opera Dudes return to Malvern Wells village hall with a new show, featuring their eclectic mix of opera , swing, show stoppers, humour and impressions, on Friday, December 4, at 8pm.

Last year the Opera Dudes played to a packed hall and tickets, which cost £8, are available from Daniel’s Garage, Wells Road, Malvern Wells.

The show, part of their Mission Improbable tour, will feature the professional tenor duo, live piano accompaniment and backing tracks to showcase a range of musical genres.

The two tenors come from very different backgrounds. Neil Allen started singing in pubs and clubs in Nottingham while working as a builder and then re-trained as an operatic tenor and now performs all over the world. Tim Lole first sang as a cathedral chorister and studied at Cambridge before becoming a conductor and pianist before deciding he wanted to be a singer.

The Opera Dudes have performed together since 2000 delighting audiences with their mix of singing, unique musical arrangements and off -the-wall humour.

The show is part of the Shindig programme and is sponsored by the Wells Revellers. Doors open at 7.30pm and the Wells club bar will be open from 7pm.
