A MALVERN Link woman has just published her first book called The House of Pomegranates.

Victoria Emms, from Gloucester Close, said: “It’s a historical novel about a parlour maid who comes to London and is employed in the house of a Member of Parliament.

“She takes to wandering around London as a means of escape so we explore the dark side of old London.”

Victoria toured London herself to get inspiration for the novel.

The name of the novel comes from the house in Belgravia where the MP lives and Victoria travelled down to the capital to conduct her own research on the streets of London.

The book is published by Double Dragon as an e-book and a paperbook from lulu.com by searching for the author’s name.
