ACCLAIMED young troubadour Seth Lakeman, powerful electric folk line-up The Battlefield Band and this year’s BBC Folk’s Best Live Act, The Demon Barber Roadshow are among the big attractions for this year’s Bromyard Folk Festival on the weekend of September 11-13.
One of the longest-running folk festivals in the UK, the event has built up a reputation for its appeal to all tastes and ages, promoting new young talent as well as celebrating the folk tradition.
Other guests include veteran singer-guitarist Roy Bailey, powerful young Scottish band Braebach, exuberant young folk trio Faustus and internationally feted songwriter from the North East, Jez Lowe with his band, The Bad Pennies.
The Festival features hundreds of singers, musicians and dancers with over 170 hours of entertainment packed into 75 events.
