PLANS are taking shape for a fund-raising Garden Festival Weekend in Hanley Swan.
A host of activities will be taking place in the village on Saturday and Sunday, June 13-14 to raise money for the Hanley Churches’ Development Fund.
There will be a Flower Festival at St Gabriel’s Church from 11am-5pm on both days, and bell ringing will take place at various times over the weekend.
There will be a variety of open gardens from noon-5pm on both days and there will be music to close events on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Perdido Street Band will perform in a Jazz in the Garden event at The Grange on Saturday evening and there will be a sponsored Songs of Praise in St Gabriel’s at 6.30pm on Sunday.
Teas and light lunches will be available on both days.
