Restaurant opens in Church Street

A NEW restaurant in Great Malvern is offering contemporary Mediterranean food in a newly refurbished setting.

Christine Hale and Manou Kabirizadeh opened the Fig Tree, in Church Street, on Monday (July 14) and have seen a steady flow of customers through their door.

The restaurant offers a range of dishes spanning Italian, French, Spanish and Greek styles and the menu is altered seasonally to reflect the quality of produce.

The two floor restaurant can hold 40 people inside as well as 16 in its cafe style outside seating area.

It has taken the couple eight months of preparation to get the restaurant up and running and they hope to become a regular fixture of Malvern life.

The Fig Tree will open seven days a week.
