The Ledbury Poetry Festival has published its wide-ranging 2008 programme on the web.
The internet address is www.poetry-festival.com Festival patron, Carol Ann Duffy will open this year's Festival with a reading in the Community Hall on Friday July 4, at 5.30pm.
She is the winner of the 2005 TS Eliot Prize.
Another highlight will be the world premiere of "The Wanderer", a specially-commissioned song cycle by local composer, John Frith, - using eight poems by former Poet Laureate, John Masefield.
This will be performed by Ledbury's Community Choir on Sunday, July 6, at 8pm in the Community Hall.
Roger Lloyd Pack, best known for playing trigger in "Only Fools and Horses" will present his Poetry Jukebox alongside actress Jemma Redgrave.
Miss Redgrave played Dr Eleanor Bramwell in the hit television series, Bramwell.
This will also take place on Sunday, July 6, at 5.30pm in the Community Hall.
