MOVEMENT was the theme of a puppet making exercise at the Grove Primary School when an artist came to visit.
Pupils aged between nine and 10 studied photographs of themselves dancing as well as pictures of famous sporting stars to inspire them to create the cardboard puppets.
A projector was then used to transfer the puppet images onto a 16 feet by four feet board that was then painted by the pupils.
It will form part of an exhibition at Worcester Cathedral.
Teacher Becky Grimwade-Jones said: "The children have really enjoyed it. They have worked in small groups painting and really love the opportunity to work with an expert."
The work will be shown at an exhibition entitled Visions and Voices at Worcester Cathedral between Friday, May 23 and Sunday, June 22.
It will then be returned to the Grove where it will replace the mural at the back of the school hall.
