Wannabe tycoons offered start up advice

PROSPECTIVE business people are being offered free start up advice and support during a one day event next week.

Business Link West Midlands are holding a drop-in session, on Thursday, May 22, offering individuals the chance to learn about self employment at Malvern Theatres.

There is also the opportunity to attend specific workshops including Is self employment right for me?' at 10.30am and 2.30pm and Business ideas and marketing' which runs at 12.30pm.

Visitors on the day will receive a free memory stick and have the chance to win a laptop computer.

The event, which runs between 10am and 6pm, is supported by Malvern Hills District Council as part of the council's economic prosperity priority.
