THE Inner Wheel Club of Malvern has launched an appeal for double knitting wool to help needy children at home and abroad.
The appeal is a repeat of one the club held two years ago, which resulted in an enormous supply of wool being donated.
The wool was turned into blankets and jumpers for the charity Feed The Children, which have been distributed as Afghanistan, Ukraine, Uganda and Romania.
Now the wool donated on 2006 has almost run out, which is why the club is appealing for people to turn out their cupboards and knitting baskets once again.
Donations can be given to Joan Gibson of Inner Wheel, on 01684 563429, or handed in at the Knitting Parlour shop in Graham Road.
