ENTREPRENEUR Philippa Charlesworth from Malvern is among inspirational women taking part in an event next week in Worcester to mark Women's Enterprise Day.
Phillippa set up her own business, Jambo Jambo, selling recycled shoes and bags made by the people of the Kibera slum in Kenya.
She is taking part in the motivational and fun-packed event at the city's racecourse on Wednesday, November 14, organised by Women in Rural Enterprise. Also taking part is actress and singer Toyah Wilcox.
It will also include workshops on Pods and Blogs, How Green is Your Business, Legal Advice and Time Management.
The event is one in a series that WiRE runs as part of its Opening Doors programme - free training, workshops, information and support to help any woman, whatever her age or background, set up and run her own business.
Booking is essential. It is free for those who haven't yet started a business, or for those who have been trading for less than twelve months. For anyone else, the cost is £10. To book call Emma on 01952 815451.
