THE deadline for entering this year's 10k run, half marathon and junior races is fast approaching.
Runners have until midnight on September 12 to sign up for the Worcester City Run, which takes place on September 16.
Steve Cram, event founder and race director, said: "We’ve had a big surge in entries for all of the races recently, which is really encouraging.
"There’s still time to enter and we’re also still recruiting volunteers to help us make sure that the event is a brilliant experience for all participants and spectators.
“Since day one, we’ve witnessed great enthusiasm for the event from the people of Worcester and that has grown every year.
"It gave us the confidence to add the half marathon in 2017 and that is again proving to be very popular."
