EMPLOYEES of Barclay's Bank have raised £26,000 for two children's charities by walking from Ledbury to Malvern.
Teams from the bank's Midlands and south-west business support divisions, plus some of their professional contacts, undertook the walk in aid of Winston’s Wish and Acorns Children's Hospice.
The funds will allow Winston’s Wish to support bereaved children and their familie, and enable the hospice to provide vital care, for children and young people with life-threatening conditions.
Judy Langraf, director at Barclay’s Business Support, said: “The team had a fantastic day traversing 12 miles over the hills. We are delighted to have raised so much money for these two very worthy charities and would like to thank everyone who helped us to make this happen."
