NEWTOWN Sports Junior Football Club held their annual presentation day at their home ground at Greenhill Drive.
The format this year changed to have the presentation combined with a Fun Day where a number of different football related and other games and activities were available for children and parents to take part in, including 'Beat the Goalie', 'Football Darts', 'Soak the Coach' and five-a-side football matches.
More than 250 children received trophies on the day including a number of boys and coaches being handed long-service awards for 10 years unbroken membership, as well as celebrating the success of teams of different ages that had achieved league and cup successes.
Newtown Sports Junior Football Club would like to thank all of their sponsors and the people who gave donations or their time to help to make the day so special for all of the children and their families.
The day was hailed as a great success by all who were involved, with this new format being much the preferred way forward.
