MALVERN Breathe Easy Group celebrated its first anniversary with a party complete with champagne, cake and a singalong with Shirley Goddard, who specialises in singing for health. The support group was founded via the British Lung Foundation (BLF) for all those affected by a respiratory condition.
Chairman Sylvia Beville said: "All are welcome to attend our monthly meetings including family, friends and carers.
"We offer a chance to share experiences and stories in a warm and welcoming atmosphere and benefit from a variety of guest speakers offering expert advice on all aspects of living with breathlessness.
"We have great plans for the next year including a variety of new speakers and events and a day trip in September.
"As we go from strength to strength, we aim to get out into the wider community to raise awareness and funds for research into lung disease."
The next meeting is on Wednesday, July 11, from 2pm to 4pm at the Cube, Albert Road North, Malvern.
