THERE will be sweet frosting and sprinkles aplenty as a care home in Malvern throw open the doors to join in on a national fundraising campaign.
On Thursday, June 14, between 2pm and 4pm, the team and residents at Hastings Residential Care Home, Barnards Green Road, are inviting people from their local community to a special tea party in aid of Alzheimer’s Society Cupcake Day.
There will be hot drinks and scrumptious sweet treats to enjoy including homemade cupcakes, in exchange for a donation to the charity.
The Sanctuary care home’s manager, Sue Milward said: “Alzheimer’s Society is a cause close to all of our hearts here at Hastings, providing both residential and residential dementia care so it’s great to be able to raise some money, whilst having some baking fun.
“Whether you fancy a simple homemade biscuit, or a more indulgent cupcake, there will definitely be something for you to enjoy.”
