A FUNDRAISING Star Wars day in Malvern Link on Friday was a great success.
The event was organised by Jonathan Thomas, a fan of the classic sci-fi film, to raise money for the Alzheimers Society.
It was centred around Malvern Link Delicious in Worcester Road, and included a prize raffle, a Star Wars quiz, a Star Wars competition and a cake stall.
Mr Thomas, who put in a stormtrooper costume to promote the event and be photographed with passers-by, said he was delighted wit the result.
"We haven't got a final figure yet, but it looks like being close to £690, which is around double our last fundraising event. We had some fantastic raffle prizes donated by businesses and everyone really enjoyed it."
