A NEW slide has been installed at the children's playground in Victoria Park, Malvern Link, thanks to Malvern Town Council.
The new slide replaces one that had to be removed six months ago because it was becoming unsafe. Town council members agreed to fund a replacement, at a cost of £3,300 plus VAT, out of the council's underspend.
Mayor Cynthia Palmer said: "I am delighted that budget savings have been used to provide a new slide at Victoria Park as we head towards the summer months."
