Heavy traffic and delays on M5 northbound following two separate accidents this morning.
There was a serious accident between a lorry and car between junctions 4 and 3 at 4.20am around a mile before Frankley services.
The motorway was fully closed at 4.45am and is expected to remain closed through rush hour, with diversions in place.
Three vehicles were also involved in a crash on the M5 southbound between junction 4A and junction 5 near Droitwich, with congestion on M42 to junction 2 A441.
Traffic was held from 5.40am to 6.20am to enable an ambulance to attend the scene. Lanes one and two of four were closed, however, all lanes have been re-opened.
Motorway cameras show surface water.
Traffic is heavier than normal on A449 eastbound at M5 J6 / A4440 Warndon Way / A4538 Pershore Lane (Worcester).
Heavy traffic on A38 City Walls Road Southbound between B4205 St Martin's Gate and A44 Sidbury / Edgar Street.
Heavy traffic on A44 Bromyard Road outbound between A449 Bromwich Road (Cripplegate Park) and Broadway Grove.
