THE Three Counties showground at Malvern is gearing up to host the celebrated Spring Tractor World Show.

Now the biggest and longest-established spring show of its kind, the ever-popular fixture in the farming and enthusiasts’ calendar kicks off the 2018 season on Saturday and Sunday, February 24 and 25.

Organiser Mark Woodward says the show will be bigger and better than ever, as it marks 16 years of bringing hundreds of exhibits, trade stands and displays to a delighted audience.

He said: "This show just keeps breaking records. The 2017 Sunday visitor attendance was our highest to date, and 2018 could well be higher. With hundreds of individual tractors, traders and displays, plus over 2,000 lots in the auction, there’s plenty for everyone.

"We also know what February weather can be like, so securing Malvern’s premier showground facilities is vital. This means we can offer 90 per cent of the show undercover, including heated halls, plus our additional huge marquee, and plenty of refreshments to keep everyone energised.”

There’s a wide range of attractions, with veteran, vintage, classic and new tractors as well as vintage farm machinery. The well-supported regional and national club displays also give visitors the chance to chat over the chassis and swap tips and stories with fellow enthusiasts.

There will be a celebration of 175 years of Case, McCormick and IH tractors and machinery, plus a display showcasing all ages of tractors with custom engine conversions.

Displays of miniature steam engines, stationary engines, horticultural equipment and classic plant will be on show, and there is also the spring classic commercial and van show on both days, with Sunday also hosting the bonus classic truck drive-in and van display.
