POLICE are not treating the death of 72-year-old Mary Yap as suspicious.
Officers do not believe that another person was involved in the death of the mother-of-four.
A crew from Severn Area Search and Rescue Association recovered Mrs Yap from the River Severn, at Ryall, near Upton, on Saturday, January 6.
She went missing from Malvern on Saturday, November 18, and was last seen on Powick river bridge, near Worcester.
Chief Inspector Jerry Reakes-Williams said: "Mary's next of kin have been informed of this very sad news, and are being supported at this difficult time.
"I'd like to thank everyone on social media and in the local community who shared our appeals to find Mary."
Mrs Yap's daughter, Jennifyr, previously said her mum was 'grief-stricken' after the death of her eldest son from cancer.
