AN Indian restaurant in Bromsgrove will host an evening of food, fun and fundraising this month to raise money for the Stroke Association.

On Monday, January 29, Spice Valley Balti in Worcester Road will be serving up a three-course dinner of Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine, with all profits supporting Stroke Association's vital work within the community.

Ruth Tandy, community and events fundraiser at the charity, said: "Spice Valley Balti raised £178 for the Stroke Association last October and we are delighted they have chosen to hold this special event to raise additional funds."

She added: "Our mission is to help prevent stroke and improve the lives of people after a stroke through support services.”

The event will also feature a charity raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses, alongside live music and comedy.

Tickets for the fundraising dinner cost £20 per person and are available to buy at Spice Valley Balti between 5.30pm and 11pm every day.
