THOUSANDS of people attended the town's Christmas lights switch-on.
Television presenter Alison Hammond and Mayor Cynthia Palmer switched on the lights at 6pm on Saturday, November 25.
The switch-on was the culmination of a series of events during the one-day Great Malvern Christmas Festival.
The crowds were entertained by performances from Malvern St James Choir, Malvern Rock Choir, Malvern Chase Brass Band, Malvern Area Music String Orchestra and Malvern Area Music Concert Band.
A Santa's grotto was also held in Malvern Library, on Graham Road, and Victorian rides, a bouncy castle and other attractions were set up in the town.
