STAFF at a Malvern hair salon have raised more than £1,000 for a breast cancer charity.
The Avenue salon, in Barnards Green Road, took part in a fundraising campaign with hair product makers Kevin Murphy for the Coppafeel breast cancer awareness month,
For each product in the Kevin Murphy pink range sold during October, £1 went to the appeal, which aims to educate people about checking their breasts for lumps.
The salon also held its own raffle and other events to add to the total.
At the end of the month, they were able to hand over £1,011 to the cause.
Audra Allard, of the salon said: "We want to say a big thank-you for the support from all those who donated."
