A TEENAGER from Malvern will be shaving her head to raise funds for a cancer charity in memory of relatives who died of the disease.
Hannah Blackburn's great-grandfather, grandfather and grandmother all lost their lives to cancer and three other family members have been affected by the illness.
Mum Sarah Blackburn said: "Unfortunately, professional support was not available to her grandparents at that time, and Hannah would like to make sure that other families don't find themselves in that position."
Hannah, aged 15, is a year 10 pupil at the Chase school, which has given her permission to shave her head.
The shave will take place on Friday, December 8, at Malvern Evangelical Church on Pickersleigh Road, and friends are welcome to come along to support Hannah.
Hannah's fundraising target is £1,000, and donations can be made at bravetheshave.macmillan.org.uk/shavers/hannah-blackburn.
