MORE than 500 people flocked to Suckley church on Saturday for the first annual Beer, Food and Gift Festival.
The event was organised by Hani and Sarah Saleh who relocated from London last year to set up the Unity Brew House in the village.
Mrs Saleh said: "It was a fantastic day, a great success. We had over 550 people coming, and lots to do in and around the church.
As well as a bar selling Unity Brew House beers alongside other local producers including Teme Valley Brewery, Sociable Beer Company, Ledbury Real Ales and Lakehouse Brewery, the event featured local artisans, enterprises, and artists.
The musical programme started with a performance from the Queen Elizabeth Bromyard steel band, included a set from the Wootown Hillbillies and ended up with an open-mike session what showcased many local talents.
"It all went really well, and we look forward to holding the festival next year," she said.
