CLUB coach Chris Skinner kept his protégées in place when he and Paul Burgess took the men’s doubles title in the Manor Park Club Championships.

The duo saw off Paddy Hyde and Tobie Timmermans in the final before Skinner’s former pupil Jamie Marks won the SEP Herefordshire & Worcestershire men’s singles crown when he defeated county captain Charlie Crisp in the final.

This result means Marks has captured every county title from the age of eight years upwards.

Charlie Titmuss was unable to retain the men’s singles honour, losing to new champion Simon Wikeley.

The Cassidy family had a good run in the club tournament as Charlie Cassidy won the 15U boys singles and Sam Cassidy clinched the 12U boys singles.

He then partnered Sam Laidler to take the15U boys doubles.

Sam Clements who had already taken the 10U title in the SEP Herefordshire & Worcestershire Championships defeated Lilia Mico in the mixed 10U club event.
