THE Three Counties Showground will become home to a sea of white boxes on wheels as the Western Motorhome Show returns to Malvern.

The annual country-and-western themed event has attracted record advance bookings, making it bigger and better than ever before, with 4,000 vehicles expected.

Sally Dodds, head of events at Warner Shows, which puts on the event, said: "This event has been steadily growing since its launch in 2005, and we now fill every inch of the showground.

"We’re expecting to welcome over 12,000 people to the show this weekend, if you’re lover of the great outdoors, come and see what the hobby can offer you.’

Those with motorhomes, campervans, caravans and tents from all around the country will be camping on-site, but if you’re after a new way to get away, or all the accompanying gadgets, you can pitch up or visit for the day.

Over 275 traders will be exhibiting with more than 450 new and used vehicles for sale, as well as every outdoor leisure accessory you could wish for.

The show runs from Friday to Sunday, August 18 to 20.

There will be live music in the food court every day, as well as live action performances from The Lonestar Re-enactment Group, and three music venues on offer.

The show is open from 9.30am to 5pm daily (4.30pm Sunday) with day entry costing just £8 for adults. This includes free parking and a free show guide. Children under 16 are free.
