A HORSE has been rescued from a river.
Fire and police rescued the horse, named Dobbin, from near Severn Stoke, near Worcester, at about 11am today.
Reporting the rescue via the @MalvernCops account on Twitter, police said Dobbin was fine and in a "stable condition".
Emergency services have dealt with several animal rescues from water this week.
Cattle were rescued from the same stretch of the Worcester-Birmingham Canal at Alvechurch on both Monday and Tuesday, while the fire brigade was called to the River Severn at Uckinghall, near Upton, on Monday to rescue another cow.
