CHILDREN at The Downs Malvern have taken part in the ‘Save the Children Den Day’.

The purpose of Den Day was to build a variety of dens in the woods and to learn about the importance of shelter in order to support Save the Children by raising money and helping them save the lives of children around the world.

Whilst all of the children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 spent their Friday afternoon in the woods working together to build dens and shelters, the children in nursery were making their own dens for their dinosaurs in their nursery garden.

The money that the children at The Downs Malvern raised will go towards supporting a reading club in Rwanda, where children are able to learn literacy skills.
