SAM is a five-month-old Jack Russell/Patterdale terrier-cross puppy, in the care of RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch.

He is looking for his forever home where he will get lots of company, exercise and training.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: "Sam is very bouncy, sweet natured and affectionate. He would benefit from puppy training classes and a new home with an experienced dog owner.

"Sam has not been housetrained, but we feel that should not be a major problem with patience and understanding. He is neutered, vaccinated, vet checked and will be rehomed with six weeks' free pet insurance."

If you feel you could offer the right home to Sam with time and commitment, please call Geraldine on 01886 822083 for more information.

For more rescued animals seeking adoption, visit the branch website: rspcaworcester.org.uk or call Geraldine on the number above for dogs or Pamela on 01905 841354 for cats and rabbits.

The cats can be viewed at the charity's new rescue centre, The Holdings, Holdings Lane, Broomhall, near Worcester WR5 3FP any day (except Wednesdays) from 11am to 4pm. The branch's dogs are still looked after at private boarding kennels, until funds have been raised to build the new kennel block at The Holdings.
