ANIMAL campaigners raised £120 for the National Anti-Vivisection Society at a street collection in Malvern on Saturday.
Several members of Worcestershire Vegans and Veggies wore animal costumes and distributed leaflets as they collected for the society in Edith Walk.
Ronald Lee of the group said: "We would like to thank the people of Malvern for their generous support of NAVS, who do excellent work in fighting to end cruel experiments on animals,
"Dozens of shoppers also signed a petition to the government against animal experimentation.
"Helping NAVS is very much part of the ethos of our group, which campaigns for animal protection throughout the county, as well as promoting a humane lifestyle and diet free from animal products."
