WITH the Easter Holidays well under way, we've put together a list of fun things to do with your family during the break.

Come rain or shine, there's plenty to do around Worcestershire – from taking part in a traditional Easter egg hunt, to testing your skills in an egg rolling competition.

Here is our list of 20 top activities and places to visit this Easter:

1. Kids' Easter Archery – Nunnery Wood Sports Complex, Worcester

The free, 'have-a-go' archery sessions will take place tomorrow, Thursday, April 13, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. Youngsters aged seven or older can try their hand at archery.

2. Easter Messy Church, St Andrew's Church, Droitwich

Come along and make a host of Easter crafts on Saturday, April 15, from 10am and 12pm. There will also be songs, a short talk, and a free lunch of sandwiches and cake.

3. Splashpad, Gheluvelt Park, Worcester

The popular splashpad is open from 10am to 4pm every day – but maybe you'll want to wait until it warms up a bit!

4. The Knapp and Papermill, near Alfrick Pound

This beautiful little nature reserve is an absolute gem. With free parking, toilets, a meadow, woods, and a perfect stream for paddling (including a bridge for Poohsticks) this is the perfect place to take a picnic and get out of town for the day

5. Worcester Woods, Wildwood Drive, Worcester

Free parking, toilets, a fantastic play area for big and little kids, woods to roam in and a cafe – this location is also on a bus route so really accessible. Add to this the Orchard Cafe’s brilliant programme of Easter holiday events, and you’re sorted.

6. Traditional Easter Crafts – The Commandery, Sidbury, Worcester

Every day until Monday, April 17, between 11am and 1.30pm, you can make an Easter bonnet and decorate an egg at the commandery. There will also be 'have-a-go' archery sessions running between 10.30am and 2.30pm from Tuesday, April 18 and Friday, April 21.

7. Easter Eggstravaganza – Fort Royal Park, Wyld's Lane, Worcester

From 3pm to 5pm on Monday, April 17, there will be egg rolling, an Easter bonnet competition, and a treasure hunt all taking place in the lovely Fort Royal Park. Don't forget to bring a hard boiled egg!

8. The Hive, The Butts, Worcester

Let’s face it, it always rains in the holidays. Luckily, the Hive has got your back with their brilliant programme of indoor events including story times, craft, and singing activities.

8. Easter Fun at the Almonry – The Almonry, Abbey Gate, Evesham

Enjoy a host of Easter-themed activities, including an egg trail, bonnet crafting and history until Sunday, April 23. The Almonry is open daily between 10am and 5pm, Sundays, 2pm to 5pm.

9. West Midland Safari Park, Spring Grove, Bewdley

The safari park is laying on a variety of extra Easter events until Sunday, April 23, included in its standard admission price. Help the Easter bunny find its missing eggs, or join the Easter Eggsplorers Craft Club from 12pm to 4pm.

10. Easter Hunt – Webbs of Wychbold, Worcester Road, Wychbold, near Droitwich

Take part in the fun Easter hunt for a chance to win chocolate and a badge. The hunts take part daily, between 11am and 4pm, until Saturday, April 15.

11. Museum Alive – County Museum at Hartlebury Castle

There is a range of activities on offer, inspired by the museum's fascinating collections. The event runs until tomorrow, Thursday, April 13, from 10.30am to 4pm.

12. Cadbury egg hunt – Croome, near High Green, Worcester

Explore the beautiful parkland and help Bunny find ingredients to make Easter treats. They are hidden around the grounds, and children must solve the clues to collect a tasty chocolate treat at the end. The hunt runs from 10am to 4pm daily, until Sunday, April 23.

13. CountryTastic – Three Counties Showground, Green Lane, Malvern Wells

On Thursday, April 13, from 10am to 5pm, there will be an action-packed day of activities for anyone interested into farming and the countryside. Visitors can make bird feeders, try willow weaving or have a go at making a harvest knot.

14. Easter Adventure Quest – Witley Court, Worcester Road, Great Witley

Join historic characters and crack clues hidden around Witley Court to complete the quest. This event runs until Monday, April 17, from 11am to 5pm.

15. Spot the Easter Egg Competition – Specsavers, Bridge Street, Evesham

Staff at the opticians are raising money for charity with this fun event – which will see five lucky youngsters win prizes. The competition will run until Tuesday, April 18 and is for children aged 14 or younger.

16. Good Friday Walk – Starting at Claines Parish Hall, Cornmeadow Lane, Worcester

At 9.30am on Friday, April 14, dozens of church members from Claines, Northwick and Barbourne will meet to walk a large wooden cross down Ombersley Road to mark Good Friday. Anyone is welcome to join the walkers, who will stop in Northwick before returning to St Stephens' Church.

17. Easter Holiday Family Fun – Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum, Foregate Street

See fantastic fossils, be inspired by objects which are millions of years old, explore the exhibits and dress up as a Victorian explorer at the museum. Events run daily from 10.30am to 4.30pm until Saturday, April 15.

18. I Spy and Big Easter Quiz – Severn Valley Railways, Comberton Hill

Until Sunday, April 23, young passengers can pick up a free I Spy quiz sheet to complete during their journey. Or, have a look for Easter characters hidden around the Engine House for a chance to win prizes.

19. Cadbury Egg Hunt – Greyfriars Friar Street, Worcester

Take part in the hunt to win a delicious chocolate Easter egg prize. The event runs from Friday, April 14 to 16, 1pm to 5pm.

20. Easter Holidays Fairy Trail – Jinney Ring Craft Centre, Hanbury Road, Hanbury, near Droitwich

Take a peek round the craft studios to find the fairies and enter a prize draw to win a gift voucher. The trail is open until Sunday, April 30.
