FAMILIES have walked along the Malvern Hills to raise money for a society that helps autistic people.
Parents and children raised £415 by walking Worcestershire Beacon, which was organised by the Facebook group Autism Kids Worcester.
The group organised the walk to raise money for the National Autistic Society and to help raise awareness of autism in Worcestershire.
Elizabeth Challacombe, who set up the group, said: "Members of the group, including family and friends have so far raised £415 and still counting for NAS.
"Autism kids Worcester currently has over 130 members and offers support to families affected by autism.
"The walk was to raise awareness because Sunday was World Autism day.
"We wanted to raise awareness that there are a lot of families in Worcester who aren't very well supported and maybe don't have what they need.
"I wanted to bring people together and raise money for a good cause.
"It's an ongoing thing and I'm hoping the group just gets bigger and bigger."
The walk took place on Sunday, April 2.
