FUNDRAISING WALK: A successful fundraising walk across the Malvern Hills was held to raise money for the Malvern Rugby Club's U12s team.
A SUCCESSFUL fundraising walk across the Malvern Hills was held to support a youth rugby team.
On Sunday, March 19, 17 children and 16 adults walked the length of the hills to raise money for new equipment and kit for Malvern Rugby Club's U12s team.
The fundraisers were prepared for heavy rain that was forecast, but participants were pleased to see that the rain in fact stayed away and they were able to enjoy a blue sky.
Smith's Motors provided the transport for the fundraiser while Waitrose Malvern donated refreshments for the participants during the walk.
The U12s teams will soon be participating in the Leicester Tigers Challenge in Minehead, where they hope to do well.
