MP Harriett Baldwin has been quizzed by budding school reporters at Hanley Castle, near Malvern, as part of a national BBC project.
And the MP praised the keen young people who grilled her on questions ranging from school funding to Brexit as part of the BBC Schools Report.
Harriett was one of a number of local people interviewed for the school project, which will be published on Wednesday, March 15.
She said: “I was very impressed by the quality of the questions and the way each of the pupils took the task very seriously.
“The whole interview was carried out very professionally and I look forward to seeing the whole report when it is published.
“Jeremy Paxman himself was educated in Worcestershire and I am sure that he would have been impressed with the way local pupils are showing such skill in interviewing politicians on difficult subjects.”
