POLICE are seeking two men after an attempt to shoplift goods struck at a store in Yates Hay Road, Malvern Link.

The incident happened at about 1.15pm on Tuesday, when two men entered the shop.

One went down the shop's meat aisle, while the second talked to the cashier at the front of the store.

The first man reappeared carrying a green bag and the shopkeeper confronted him and asked to see in the bag as he had recognised both men as shoplifters.

The man refused, saying the shopkeeper had no right to go through the bag, but when the shopkeeper threatened to call the police, the man produced three containers of Actimel baby milk from the bag and left the store, where the other man was waiting for him.

One of the men is described as Asian, around 60 years old, with grey medium-length hair, slim and five feet six tall, wearing dark trousers, black or navy Adidas trainers, and a black coat.

The second is white male, mid to late 20s, five feet nine or ten inches tall, dark brown hair, and of medium build, wearing black trousers and trainers, grey hoodie with a black gilet over the top.
