A TREE has fallen down across a 'narrow' road, blocking traffic in both directions.
The tree fell down in Graham Road, Malvern, this morning and a highways crew was sent to the scene.
Police urged drivers to avoid the road and find alternative routes.
Jess Walwyn, 28, from Malvern, said: "I had to turn around. It's completely blocking the road.
"Everyone was turning around. I had just been to Malvern and was heading to McDonald's in Malvern Link.
"People should avoid the area, it's a narrow road to turn around in."
Jon Fraser, head of highways, said: “The trees have fallen down because of the wind we are regularly monitoring things.”
Alice Concon drove through Graham Road at 6.30pm and said the tree had been cleared.
