THE AMBULANCE and fire services are warning drivers to be extra careful this morning due to foggy conditions.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “[It’s] pretty murky out there in some parts of the West Midlands.
“Take care on the roads please – we really don’t want to meet you.”
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Take extra care on the roads today.
"There is a lot of fog and mist about, making normal conditions hazardous."
Commuters are being urged to slow down on the M5 southbound due to fog and a broken down vehicle at junction four.
One of the three lanes has been closed between junction three and four to enable the vehicle’s tyre to be changed.
