Malvern-based chamber choir The Hills Singers open their 2016-17 season with a concert at St Andrew's Church, Churchdown Road, Malvern on Saturday 29 October. They present this in partnership with Bridge Training and Development, a charity which provides alternative learning opportunities for young people at their centre in Hanley Swan. On 29 October at 7.30pm, The Hills Singers present a programme of well-loved classical and popular music which has wide appeal and includes Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, Faure's Cantique de Jean Racine, Adiemus by Karl Jenkins, Chilcott's I Share Creation and songs by The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel and Leonard Cohen as well as spirituals and jazz standards. Tickets cost £10 each (students £5) and are available from Sarah Musgrave (07715 562311) and Diane Hancock (01684 311632). Proceeds support the Bridge Training and Development charity.
