FIREFIGHTERS are testing themselves in a multi-storey car park collapse scenario as part of a 24 hour search and rescue exercise.
Around 80 people are taking part in the event, with around 12 firefighters from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service attending.
Fire teams from around the south west, and one ambulance crew, have been sent to the event at Lincoln Training Centre.
Pictures have been uploaded which show firefighters being lowered underground with winches, simulating a car park collapse rescue mission.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are treating the exercise, which started at 4pm yesterday (October 18), as a full deployment.
