BIN collections will be missed in many Worcester streets tomorrow (Tuesday).
Worcester City Council says some collections will be missed due to staff shortages.
The council has apologised and says missed collections will take place on Wednesday instead during a 'catch-up round'.
All the roads affected are in the Cathedral, Rainbow Hill, St John, Warndon Parish South and Nunnery areas of the city.
The full list of roads affected is: The Hopmarket, Wheatfield Avenue, Field Terrace, Lower Field Terrace, Diglis Avenue, May Avenue, Larch Road, Mulberry Terrace, Tallow Hill, Spring Hill, Spring Lane, Park Street, South Quay, Bridge Street, Quay Street, Wylds Lane, Swinesherd Lane, Linksview Crescent, James Close, St Paul’s Street, Wellington Close, Newcastle Close.
A Worcester City Council spokesman said: “We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause to residents. The situation has arisen because some drivers are on leave and another has had a family emergency.”
Households affected are being asked to put their black bins out on Wednesday instead.
