A PARTY in the park is being held next weekend in Callow End to raise money to build an all-weather exercise track.
The village playing field association has set itself the ambitious goal of building an all-weather year-round facility that can be used by everyone from joggers to skaters to parents with pushchairs.
And as part of the fund-raising efforts, the association is holding a party in the park on Saturday, July 9, offering fun for all the family.
Starting at noon, the event includes music from the Worcester Ukulele Club, Malvern Rock Choir, Treble A and Hump de Bump.
There will also be a kids' disco, a tug-of-war challenge, stalls, games, a First World War museum and activity centre and much more.
Admission is £3 for adults, £1 for ages 12-15 and free for under 12s.
