PUPILS at a Malvern school organised a royal tea party to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.
The St Joseph's Swans and Cygnets pre-school joined forces with St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School's reception Class for the tea party on Friday, June 10.
Local parishioners and residents of the nearby Davenham residential home were invited to join the children in the celebrations, as part of a drive at the school to forge links with the community.
Those at the party sat outside in the front playground, which had been decked out with bunting, and enjoyed tea and cake.
The children made a big effort to celebrate this special occasion by making their own hand made crowns and cakes for the party, and sang a happy birthday song to the Queen rounded off by a rendition of the national anthem, God Save The Queen.
