WITH Easter fast approaching, Malvern Hills Lions Club is once again launching its grand Easter egg raffle.

Shops and pubs across Malvern and beyond are playing host to the chocolate eggs, and raffle tickets are just £1 each.

Proceeds from the raffle will go into club coffers, to help fund the many good causes that the Lions support.

Geoff Lewis of the Lions said: "Club members would like to take this opportunity to thank the management and staff at all of the venues taking part for their help and cooperation in running the egg raffles on their behalf. All of the money raised will go towards funding projects and requests for assistance that the club may receive in the future."

In Malvern Link, eggs can be found at the Beacon Dental Practice, Andrew's Hair Studio, the Bakery Inn, Gloster Arms, the New Inn, and Studio K, and in North Malvern at the Cross Keys.

In and around Barnards Green, the egg hosts are the Foresters Arms, the Green Dragon and the Three Horseshoes, in the town centre at the Great Malvern Hotel, in Newtown Road at the Prince of Wales and the Retired Soldier, and at the Worcestershire Golf Club in Malvern Wells.

Further afield, eggs can be found at the Three Nuns at Colletts Green, the Talbot at Knightwick, the Bear and Ragged Staff at Bransford, the Royal Oak at Leigh Sinton, the Retreat at Norton, the Chase at Upper Colwall, the Wellington at Chances Pitch, the Marlbank at Upper Welland, the Blue Bell at Callow End and DLF Trifolium at Inkberrow.

Mr Lewais said: "We are always in need of new members. Why not join and help make a difference? Lions care about every penny that they collect and ensure that every one goes to good causes. Not one penny is spent on administration."
