A MAN was knocked out and suffered facial injuries during an 'unprovoked' and 'sustained' assault in Hereford.
The assault happened in Nicholson Court, in the Bobblestock area of Hereford on Sunday, February 7 after 1am.
The victim, in his early 20s, was knocked unconscious and later taken to hospital for treatment to facial injuries.
Officers investigating the assault would like to speak to a man who spoke to the victim in a European accent.
He is described as being in his late twenties, 6ft tall and of large build with a bald/shaved head.
The man is believed to have been wearing dark or black clothing at the time.
Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information that may be useful to investigations to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 81s of 7 February.
