SNOW is likely to fall as 'cold rain' as predictions by the Met Office are downgraded.
Dave Throup, Environment Agency manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire said: "Horrible day today. This band of rain will hang about all day.
"Cold too although threat of snow now reduced. Met Office warning for snow now amended, removing our patch from area at risk. Just cold rain now!"
A yellow weather warning remains in place for other areas includin the East Midlands, East of England, London and South East England and the North West.
