A CHRISTMAS concert season by a local community choir has proved so popular that it is added a further date to its programmes.
The demand for tickets to Powick Community Choir's four shows at Stanbrook Abbey was so high that a fifth date has been added.
The extra show is on Tuesday, December 15, at 6.45pm, in the abbey's great hall. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, December 1, at the Callow End Stores.
Tom Wells, musical director of the 80-strong community choir, said: “We are all once again very much looking forward to performing in the Abbey. With our earlier shows in the month all sold out, we felt we had to do something to avoid disappointing lots of people.”
The choir attracts members from across Worcestershire and has quickly established an enviable reputation for the quality of its performances.
