Services were being held across the county while schools, workplaces and homes observed a two-minutes silence on the 11th hour on the 11th day.
It marked the time in 1918 when the guns fell silent on the Western Front.
Dignitaries gathered at the War Memorial at Worcester Cathedral from 10.50am for a service while the county's high streets also fell silent.
